UFS111-7th Vocabulary Entry


1.Convenient: Suited or favorable to one's comfort, purpose, or needs.
2. Scapegoat: a person or group made to bear the blame for others or to suffer in their place.

3. Buffer:  Any intermediate or intervening shield or device reducing the danger of interaction between two machines, chemicals, electronic components, etc.

4. Paved: To cover or lay (a road, walk, etc.) with concrete, stones, bricks, tiles, wood, or the like, so as to make a firm, level surface.

5. Grasslands: A large open area covered with grass

6. Gullies: A deep ditch or channel cut in the earth by running water after a prolonged downpour.

7. Drainage: The act or process of draining.

8. Mother nature: A term of address for a female parent or a woman having or regarded as having the status, function, or authority of female parent.

9. Widespread destruction: The act of destroying or state of being destroyed.

10. Foreseen: To see or know beforehand.

11. Legitimate: In accordance with established rules, principles, or standards.

12. Meteorite: A mass of stone or metal that has reached the earth from outer space; a fallen meteoroid.

13. Wiped out: destroyed completely.
    
14. Man-made: Made by humans rather than occurring in nature.

15. Short-sighted: Unable to see far; near sighted; myopic.

16. Accurately: Free from error or defect; consistent with a standard, rule, or model ; precise; exact.
